NEEDED TO RESPOND TO THE THREAT.>>>A JOINT GROUP THAT FOCUSES ON FINDING WAYS TO CREATE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND FINDING COMMONALITIES IN URBAN AND RURAL MINNESOTA HELD MEETINGS IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS TODAY TO RELEASE AND DISCUSS THEIR 18-MONTH EQUITY BLUEPRINT, A LONG-TERM GUIDE FOR A SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT ACROSS THE STATE. THE MINNESOTA EQUITY BLUEPRINT IS A LEGISLATIVE POLICY GUIDE WITH FOUR DIFFERENT PARTS THAT DISCUSS HUMAN CAPITAL, ENVIRONMENTAL RESILIENCE, INFRASTRUCTURE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH. THE BLUEPRINT ALSO HAS OVER 100 STRATEGIES THAT CAN CREATE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND FINDING COMMONALITIES IN URBAN AND RURAL MINNESOTA.>>– A LOT OF DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RURAL AND URBAN COMMUNITIES BUT ALSO A LOT IN COMMON. WE ALL WANT HEALTHY FAMILIES, GOOD XHUNLTD COMMUNITIES. DESPITE THE DIFFERENCES, THERE’S ALSO A LOT IN COMMON. WE NEED TO LOOK AT WHAT KIND OF STRATEGIES WORK WELL AT OUR COMMUNITIES, WHAT WORKS AT A STATEWIDE POLICY LEVEL AND HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER TO HAVE A COMMON FUTURE FOR MINNESOTA.>>THE BLUEPRINT IS A JOINT EFFORT FROM MEMBERS OF THRIVING
