How to Promote an Event on Facebook: Facebook Events | Facebook Blueprint

I’m back. When you plan an event, you want lots of people
to know about it and talk about it. That way, more people will show interest
and more people will show up. There are ways you can promote your event,
which can help do that both on Facebook and off. In this video, you’ll learn [LEARN HOW TO Promote your event on Facebook]
how to let people know your event [by sharing your event calendar.]
is happening on Facebook. You’ll also learn how to reach people
who you think will be interested. You’ll even learn how to keep people
talking about it after the event is over. I’m going to walk you
through all of that and more. Since you already have a page, kudos, by the way, you’re off to a great start to promote your event. [Pro Tip: Start with people]
The people who’ve liked or followed your page [who like and follow your page.]
already give you a built-in audience. They’ll find out right away
when you have an event coming up once you publish it. But there’s even more you can do. [Events]
Here’s a store called Jasper’s Market. [Pizza Tasting Interested]
They’re doing a pizza tasting soon. And guess who’s going.
That’s right, me. Jasper’s Market has this Events tab. [Settings Event]
It’s very easy to see. You can make your Event easy to see too. All you have to do is make it
one of the first options here on the left side of the page. Change the order under your settings. [Settings Template and Tabs Events]
Scroll down to drag and drop tabs into whatever order works best for you. It’s time to share
your Event Calendar on Facebook. [Event Upcoming Events Share Events]
Just publish a post with a preview of your event. Click Share Events in the Event tab. [Share on Your Timeline Post]
That way, your latest events will have a preview. Excellent work. There are even more ways
